What has happened to the rape reporting process in the UK? Why are we not protecting rape victims? Why is the conviction rate so incredibly low? Was the rape reporting process every fit for purpose? What does it say about what we value in the UK?
We want to open the lid on the rape reporting process with interviews with rape survivors, their family members, police officers, the barristers that represent them, the Victim Liaison Office and Trauma Therapist and more.
We aim to inform the general public, who are not familiar with the law enforcement and judicial systems that underpin British society, on what to expect should you actually be brave enough to report your rape. And to hopefully, empower survivors to come forward and increase the number of rape reports to reflect how many rapists roam free in the UK.
We can only do this with your help!
