Endorsing Beneficiary Charity : The Alex Timpson Trust

The Alex Timpson Trust is the official charity of the Timpson Group, founded in 2017 in memory of the late Alex Timpson. Our main mission is to help schools better support the emotional needs of looked-after children, including fostered and adopted children.

We understand the importance of quality family time. A relaxing break away from daily life can be incredibly valuable for bonding, so we provide free holidays to foster, Special Guardianship Order (SGO), and kinship families in holiday homes across the UK.

We also have a variety of resources that we’ve developed over the years, including books written by Sir John Timpson CBE, who has over 30 years of experience as a foster carer. Some of his books include A Guide to Attachment, How to Create a Positive Future, and Looking After Looked After Children. These resources are designed to help everyone create positive experiences for the children they care for.
